Our Process
Cultivation: The kava plant thrives in tropical climates and requires specific care to ensure quality yield.
Harvesting: Mature kava plants, typically 3-5 years old, are carefully uprooted, focusing on the roots, the primary source of kava’s active compounds.
Cleaning: Harvested roots undergo a thorough cleaning process to eliminate dirt and other impurities.
Peeling: The external bark of the roots is meticulously removed, revealing the inner part that holds a higher concentration of kavalactones.
Drying: Peeled roots are dried either under the sun or using artificial methods. Proper drying is crucial to retain potency and inhibit mold growth.
Pulverizing: Depending on the requirement, dried roots can be ground into a fine powder.
Packaging: The final product, whether roots or powder, is typically packed in 20-25kg white polypropylene bags for distribution.
