What is Cocoa?

Cocoa, the cornerstone of chocolate creation, is a sumptuous ingredient obtained from the beans of the cacao tree. Adored for its intense flavor and versatile applications, cocoa has found its way into the heart of countless culinary masterpieces, making celebrations sweeter and moments more memorable.

Types We Provide:

  • Cocoa Beans: The raw, fermented, and dried beans used as the base for all cocoa products.

  • Cocoa Nibs: Bits of roasted cocoa beans, often consumed as a snack or used in baking.
  • Cocoa Liquor: A smooth, liquid form of cocoa resulting from grinding the nibs.

Our Process

  1. Planting: The cacao tree, native to tropical regions, is planted and nurtured, ensuring it thrives in optimal conditions to yield premium beans.

  2. Harvesting: Once ripened, the cacao pods are handpicked, ensuring only the best are chosen for processing.

  3. Fermentation: Beans are extracted and left to ferment, a crucial step that enhances the bean’s unique flavors.

  4. Drying: Post-fermentation, beans are dried to ensure optimal preservation and taste.

  5. Roasting: Beans are roasted to bring out their characteristic cocoa flavor.

  6. Winnowing: Roasted beans are cracked open, separating the shell from the nibs – the actual cocoa treasure.

  7. Grinding: The nibs are ground to produce cocoa liquor, which can further be processed to extract cocoa butter and cocoa powder if required.

  8. Packaging: Products are then packed with the utmost care, ensuring they reach our customers in perfect condition.

  9. Shipping: Ready orders are dispatched, with every batch reflecting our commitment to quality and flavor.
